About the Film & Director
“Here, We Belong: The Treehouse Experience” offers a glimpse into a community where generations become part of one another’s lives. Through residents’ own words, the short film explores the everyday connections that deepen understanding, expand our sense of family, and create belonging.
Kate Geis is an Emmy Award-winning documentary producer and director whose work explores people’s lives and creative worlds. Her documentaries have featured choreographer Paul Taylor and beloved author and illustrator Eric Carle. She brings that same curiosity about people and their stories to the Treehouse community.
