Tara Moore
Board Secretary
Tara Moore is a dedicated program manager, change agent, and advocate with a notable career spanning 23 years at MathWorks, Inc. With a passion for program management, and enabling international teams, Tara thrives when scaling programs and steering change management initiatives. She firmly believes in the power of collaboration and effective programmatic approaches to drive positive outcomes. Tara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Becker College and has dedicated volunteer efforts to child sponsorship for SOS Children’s Villages (since 2008) and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (since 2015).
Her personal motivation stems from her grandfather’s story of adoption and how he flourished with the support of family and community. A local business owner, and a large family with nine children, and many grandchildren. Tara witnessed the power of generations supporting one another. She draws inspiration from her grandmother, who worked at the community center, reaching out to seniors, and providing them with companionship and connection. Treehouse Foundation embodies all these values she learned growing up.
Also inspired by her high school, Walnut Hill School for the Arts, where she studied ballet and visual arts, Tara embraces their motto “Non nobis solum,” meaning “not for ourselves alone,” as a guiding principle in her life. Tara is driven by the belief that positive change starts with individuals, and she is committed to this lifelong goal.
During her downtime, Tara enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two amazing children in Marlborough, MA. Together, they cherish family moments and create lasting memories.
